Introducere

Aceste pagini doresc sa aduca pe Internet rezultatul muncii a cativa pasionati de aviatie si de istoria aviatiei, care de cativa ani editeaza in conditii grele revista "Aviatia".
Aceasta intreprindere nu ar fi putut avea succes fara munca plina de abnegatie a domnilor Ionel Becherete-Vadeni si Cornel Marandiuc si fara ajutorul inestimabil al multilor colaboratori, asa de multi incat nici nu putem sa-i enumeram pe toti. In acelasi timp tiparirea acestei reviste ar fi fost imposibila fara sponsorizarile obtinute de redactie atat de la firme cat si de la multe persoane private.
Nu este posibil sa transpunem intreg materialul aparut in revista pe Internet, dar ne propunem sa pastram o baza de date a articolelor cele mai valoroase  din punct de vedere istoric, confesiuni si amintiri din perioade de aur ale aviatiei romanesti, evocari ale faptelor eroice savarsite de aviatorii romani pe multe campuri de batalie.
In acelasi timp vom semnala evenimente importante legate de aviatorii romani, aparitii editoriale, orice noutati legate de aviatie.

Introduction

This site wishes to promote on the Internet the work of a handful of passionate people, struggling for a few years already to edit in Romania one of the very few flight related papers, called "Aviatia". This paper was created to revigorate  the spirit of romanian aviation, spoiled in the years of communism.
This would be an useless effort without the hard working of people like Ionel Becherete-Vadeni and Cornel Marandiuc and their co-workers. They are so many, that we can't even enumerate them. The editing and printing of "Aviatia" would be also impossible without our sponsors, companies and people with the same passion for flight.
We can't transpose the entire content of the paper on these pages, but we intend to create a database of the most valuable articles; confessions and memories of past times, golden years of Romanian flight, heroism of wingmen on different battlefields. In the meantime we'll also write about important events of contemporary Romanian flight, any news related to aviation.
We wish to publish as much information as we can in English also.
